​We help publicize information on the full spectrum of the costs and effects of war, focusing specifically on the post-9.11 wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries, as well as the seemingly endless "war on terror."  We also examine rising threats of war in other parts of the world, as well as historical examples where war was avoided as well as where war could have been avoided. We discuss and analyze ways to prevent international conflict from escalating to war, and ways to bring existing conflicts to a peaceful conclusion in ways that prevent rather than incite ongoing conflicts.  We help publicize the research and work done by the United States Institute of Peace and the Costs of War Project sponsored by Brown University, as well as many other organizations and individuals from around the world.
